Activities with Students at the School in Orekhovitsa under the Intercultural Education Project
During the past week, activities with students were held at the school in the village of Orekhovitsa as part of the project “Promoting Intercultural Education through Culture, Science and Sports in Dolna Mitropolia Municipality”.
The activities focused on developing social and communication skills, teamwork, and building a positive school environment. Through interactive exercises, educational games, and discussions, students had the opportunity to explore topics related to friendship, respect, and acceptance of differences.
The sessions encouraged children to become active participants in the educational process and to develop confidence in their own abilities. Special emphasis was placed on tolerance, mutual support, and creating an environment where every child feels accepted and valued.
Such activities are an important part of intercultural education, as they support the development of communication and cooperation skills in a multicultural environment. They also contribute to preventing discrimination and creating a positive school atmosphere.
