Projecteka Association is implementing the project “Establishing Intercultural Education through Culture, Science, and Sports in Dolna Mitropoliya Municipality”. As part of Activity 1 – Working with children and students to implement intercultural education, special lessons were conducted in the clubs Lyuboznayko (for children from preparatory group to 5th grade) and Who Am I (for students from 6th to 10th grade), including sessions at schools in Dolna Mitropoliya, Staverci, and Trastenik Kindergarten.
The activities reached children from 1st to 6th grade in both schools and aimed to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. The lessons combined innovative MathRiders methodology with educational games, creative tasks, and exercises to develop verbal, social, and problem-solving skills.
The MathRiders system integrates play, movement, and music to make learning numbers and logical thinking fun and engaging. This approach stimulates children’s natural curiosity, builds confidence, and encourages independent thinking while fostering enjoyment in learning.
During the sessions, children participated in:

Interactive approach – integrating music, movement, and engaging activities.
The activities in Dolna Mitropoliya, Staverci, and Trastenik Kindergarten brought excitement and curiosity to the children, helping them develop both cognitive and social skills in a multicultural environment. By combining creative methods and intercultural education, the project promotes understanding, tolerance, and collaboration among children of different backgrounds.
These activities also prepare children to engage positively in a multicultural educational environment, developing competencies for social interaction, empathy, and communication, which are key components of the project’s objectives in intercultural education.
